It started as a simple DIY project. Berni wanted beautiful bows for her own Christmas trees — something that felt luxurious, intentional, and alive. So she started making them herself. And then she became obsessed.
Obsessed with shape. With structure. With the way a ribbon falls. With how a bow holds its form over days and weeks of being on display. She experimented with different constructions, different techniques, different ways of building volume and movement into every loop.
Why She Couldn't Buy What She Wanted
Like any true creative, Berni tried the alternatives first. She bought bows from markets, from stores, from everywhere she could find them. But nothing was right.
